PROJECTS![]() title: Seven Treasures subject matter: Shippou from Inu-Yasha url: http://shippou.celebaelin.net
There aren't actual good Shippou sites out there anymore, which is sad because I adore the little kit from Inu Yasha. So what better way to show my love than to make a shrine for him? It'll possibly be nothing more than a mini-shrine since Shippou is a minor character, but then again it might not. I mean, look at what I did with my Sylphiel site? XD
I absolutely adore this couple from one of my favorite anime/manga series so I decided that my domain could use another couple shrine and this time to an actual canon pairing. *giggle*
Something I've noticed on the net is that people make a shrine to a character they resemble the most. Well, currently my anime twin would be Milly from the sci-fi western anime series Trigun. I look just. like. her. And she's also my favorite character of the show so she deserves a shrine especially since Trigun shrines are dying out. ^^
I closed down my original shrine to FY in favor of making a character shrine. To who though... that is the question... I'm not sure if I want it to be a Miaka shrine like I originally planned, a shrine to the Boshi twins, or to the Seiryuu side in general. Hmm... But I'll still have what was on the site originally, I'm just adding more so to speak that focuses on someone from FY.
One of my favorite things to do online was to roleplay at my favorite message board-based RPG Multiverse High. The game sort of went into a long hiatus but now we're getting it back up again and having both schools as rivals.
Yes, many have wondered what it is with my obsession of pairing Kurama from Yu Yu Hakusho with Sylphiel Nels Lahda from The Slayers so I've thought it is finally about time I made a pairing shrine for them, which will include all fanfics, fanart, and whatever else Kit and I have created to show our support for this most unlikely of couples.
Another idea I've been tinkering with is a resource guide on Japanese culture, traditions, and holidays for anime fanfic writers. I have a problem with reading fanfiction on certain series that is heavily based with Japanese culture yet the authors tend to ignore that. For example: A Rurouni Kenshin fanfic that confuses the Meiji era with the Feudal era. Yes, I have seen them before and it is not pretty. ^^; |
