For those who are curious, I am Tara-hime, a worshipper of full moons and fireflies, a genki girl by nature, and a lover of all things Japanese, from geisha to anime! I go by Tara-hime because of my great love for all things fantasy and I have always wished to one day become a princess in my own right by wishing on stars and throwing coins in wishing wells. If you can't tell already I have a thing for fantasy. ^_^

Interests
I think it's safe to say it's obvious my interests lie in anime and manga. I've been a fan for a very long time, way before I even knew exactly what anime was. I love lots of different stuff but my favorites lie mainly in shoujo, shounen, and romantic comedy. I <3 The Slayers, Yu Yu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin, The Vision of Escaflowne, Fushigi Yuugi, and Fruits Basket. There's lots more but that is just to give you an insight to what I like.

Aside from anime, I also love fantasy and my favorite has to be The Lord of the Rings in both book and movie form. I still remember reading The Hobbit for the first time and I would always watch the cartoon over and over again. I'm also a big fan of The Last Unicorn, which was my favorite non-Disney film as a child. Even today it holds a special place in my heart. I read my copy of the book over and over again. ^_^

Hobbies
I'm a writer by birth and have a great love for the written word. Books have been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. I like writing mediocre fanfiction now and then, though my muse has been on vacation for quite sometime, so a lot of my stuff is unfinished. My main hobby though is where you are right now: my domain. I have several websites online and even more projects I work on in my spare time. Though sometimes I think I take too many on at once since I have many site ideas I want to expand on but never the time to do it. ^_^;
